![]() What I'm trying to tell you is, healing is very strong! I shouldn't have to spell this out, but if you can heal for free that's even more powerī) You can actually stack healing with ward! if you have a resistance value, then the healing effect is essentially multiplied by a proportionate amount. Think about how devastating offensive spells can be, it's crazy how a healing spell wins out against them. And when it is, it frequently has a cost, e.g. Here the commenter fails to understand thatĪ) Healing isn't accessible to every faction. I'll just pick a random argument from another comment in this thread! :) You would think the Isabella trait gave 90% ward save how much it's hyped up. People who think constant free healing is weak don't ever have any coherent arguments to that effect.Ĭonsidering how much healing, replenishment, or innate regen lords often have I think it's likely you came to the wrong conclusion. If you are buying something that only costs 75$ normally at my 50% sale, you are saving 3.41$. If I have a 50% sale storewide, you now only save an additional 4.55$. For example, if I have a 25% sale storewide, you now only save an additional 6.82$. The 9.09% being multiplicative reduces its absolute value as I add other savings. Let's say you want to buy something that costs 100$ normally. Let's say I give you a 9.09% discount at my store. I don't know why you bring up that it may be multiplicative as if that's a good thing.ġ0% experience gain is equal to a 9.09% discount to needing to rank up. What I'm saying is, I don't see how getting to the end point 5-10% sooner isn't good especially if the buffs scales and the 10% is multiplicative gifts) or events, or lord traits, the savings is even less. If your initial recruit rank is higher or you recruit a higher tier unit or have followers that increase xp or global bonuses (ex. The savings, say 4-8 turns by turn 162, is the max savings. If you get the trait turn 40, you will already have units not at rank 1. If you have other things to boost experience (technologies or more than one training hero), that gap narrows. When you include that, to go from the lowest tier to rank 9 at the highest tier, you are saving four turns. And yeah, I know, when you upgrade the unit it loses XP ranks. Without Karl's defeat trait, it takes 28 turns to get to the max upgrade. And let's say you do one battle per turn with an army. ![]() Let's say you have a hero with training in the army (+55 xp per turn). Let's use 500 xp as the average per battle. On the high end, you get max upgrade four battles earlier. With the 10% boost, that changes to 24-35 battles. So to get max rank, that's 26-39 battles. Your unit is probably averaging 400-600 xp/battle. (The final upgrade has no rank requirement.) To get to the first upgrade, you need rank 5. Think we missed one?
